Why this site exists

Social round robins often start with a text thread and end with one person doing pairing math beside the court. DinkRounds turns that repetitive planning into a quick browser tool without requiring player accounts or storing a roster.

How the generator makes tradeoffs

The schedule tests many possible assignments for every round. It prioritizes equal games and sit-outs, then fewer repeat partners, fewer repeat opponents, and a mix of court assignments. The summary reports the resulting spread because not every player, court, and round combination has a perfect solution.

What the tool does not claim

DinkRounds is a social-play planner, not sanctioned tournament software, a rating system, or a guarantee of perfectly equal competition. Organizers should review the schedule and adjust for accessibility, injuries, skill bands, or group preferences.

Editorial approach

Guides explain the same scheduling logic implemented in the tool. Substantive updates are dated in the source and checked against current official rules when a rule matters. DinkRounds is independent and is not affiliated with USA Pickleball, DUPR, or any equipment company.
