The estimate behind the timer
Every doubles game uses four player-slots. The calculator divides your total requested player-games by four, spreads those matches across the available courts, and multiplies the resulting rounds by game time plus changeover time.
Timed games or games to 11?
Timed games make bookings predictable because every court changes together. Games to 11 feel more traditional, but one long deuce game can hold the next round. For a social with limited court time, a 10–12 minute timer and a two-minute changeover is a practical starting point.
